  • U.S. Olympics Team Dressage Bronze Medalist (1996 on Peron)

  • The German “Golden Rider Medal” presented at the 1996 Olympics by the President of the German National Federation. First American rider to earn this award. First time awarded out of Germany

Full Training in FLORIDA

Michelle is now welcoming horses and riders in full training in Loxahatchee FL.  Full care or dry stalls stalls are available at Avonlea Oaks Farm. Contact Michelle for more information.

Lessons

Michelle is available for lessons at one of a few farms in the Denver area where she regularly teaches during the summer or haul-in at Avonlea Oaks Farm during the winter.  To arrange for lessons or for more information on her remote training locations, please contact Michelle.


Clinics

Michelle maintains an active clinic schedule in Colorado, Ohio, Utah and Texas, but still has a few opportunities available for new clinics in 2023-2024.  Please contact her for additional details.

 
You have to ride each horse individually for how they’re built and where their strengths and weaknesses are. The common denominator is riding the hind legs - really making the horse active and through the body.
